Cynthia
Briggs message in Pork Chops & Applesauce is about focusing on whats important in life; and how taking a break to reflect upon memorable family gatherings and the sharing of comfort food dinners provides a respite from the fast pace of living in todays hectic world. Cynthia hopes that through reading Pork Chops you will come to believe, as she does, that "all culinary hearts beat as one."
Briggs takes pleasure in recounting the easiness of simpler times growing up on an Oregon homestead, coupled with the humorous adventures of raising her children on a Pacific Northwest farm. She encourages you to bring back the tradition of family dinners to satisfy everyone's eager appetites while providing nourishment to their hearts and souls, which she feels is the key to a more centered and grounded lifestyle.
Briggs makes her home in Albuquerque, New Mexico, with her husband, Ed, and their favorite dachshund, Leon.
